1920 Leedy Professional Model Snare Drum

Up for grabs is a beautiful 1920s Leedy Professional Model (Sometimes referred to as Elite Model) Snare drum in the original Nickel plating finish in the more elusive 4" depth. The drum is in excellent condition with all original slotted rods, speedway strainer, newer heads top and bottom and newer snare strand. The strainer has no broken parts and is all original however the throw is not very smooth and does get stuck while engaged, typically backing off the snare strand tension resolves this. The range from engaged to disengaged isn't far. The drum is free of any modifications. Great for the collector and player alike!
